A Full Tour of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas

A realistic, unedited, A-Z visual tour of Royal Caribbean’s mega-ship, Oasis of the Seas

In case you didn’t know, I just came back from a lovely 7 night cruise around Italy and Spain onboard Oasis of the Seas. And whilst I loved the ports, I loved the ship even more. Oasis of the Seas is one of the world’s biggest cruise ships, and she’s honestly quite hard to navigate around. Even on my last day, I was still getting lost.

So, I thought it would be great to put together an A-Z Tour / Gallery of the entire ship – or what I managed to experience. You don’t go on the world’s largest cruise ship and experience everything! It’s impossible.

150 Central Park

150 Central Park is one of Royal Caribbean’s Speciality Dining options onboard Oasis of the Seas. Each dish at 150 Central Park spotlights locally sourced ingredients harvested at the peak of their season. Think palate-pleasing apps, elevated classic dishes and a range of desserts that you should definitely save room for.

Aqua theatre / Aqua80

The Aqua theatre is home to Aqua80, the greatest show in the world in my opinion, onboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. Reservation is required so make sure you book in advance to grab your seats!

The show includes extraordinary acrobatics to the soundtrack of the 1980s.

Bionic Bar

The Bionic Bar has two robotic bartenders that can create any cocktail you desire. If you have the Deluxe Drinks Package, it’ll be included here too!

Blaze

Blaze is the nightclub onboard Oasis of the Seas. It follows quite a dark, moody vibe – perfect for throwing some shapes. We actually watched a great comedian here!

Boleros

Boleros is one of the entertainment venues onboard Oasis of the Seas. You’ll find evenings filled with live music, but in the day it takes a more relaxed approach with quizzes.

Boardwalk

The boardwalk was one of my favourite spots onboard Oasis of the Seas. Here you can access Johnny Rockets, Playmakers, the Aquatheatre, and some incredible views.

Boardwalk Balcony

We actually had an Inside cabin originally, but we did the RoyalUp bidding and won a Boardwalk Balcony. Perfect for families who want to always be a part of the action. Not recommended if you’re someone who wants to have some peace and quiet.

Café Promenade

Café Promenade is a 24/7, complementary eatery. Think the greatest cookies, pastries, sandwiches, and more. They even have speciality coffee here, so if you have a drinks package, it’s covered – It’s one of those “proudly serving Starbucks” ones.

Central Park

Central Park is a stunning neighbourhood onboard Oasis of the Seas filled with chirping birds, real plants, and an array of restaurants and bars. At night, the place really comes alive.

Chops Grille

Chops Grille is one of Royal Caribbean’s speciality dining venues onboard Oasis of the Seas. And in fact, I think it’s on every single Royal Caribbean ship, right? I’ve never been so I can’t attest to its quality, but the setting is really nice!

Dog House

As soon as your first hit the boardwalk, you’ll be greeted by the Dog House, a complimentary quick-bite, eatery. Sadly, they didn’t do any vegetarian options so I couldn’t eat here!

El Loco

El Loco is a complimentary eatery that offers Mexican-style food. Think nachos, tacos, and quesadillas. This was one of the ones I was most looking forward to, but sadly everything had meat in it. Even simple beans had beef in it. Shame!

FlowRider

A Royal Caribbean classic, the FlowRider! Oasis of the Seas has TWO!

Focus

Focus is the spot where you can see all those Paparazzi / Photographer shots! Just make sure to give the photographer your stateroom number so that you can view them at Focus!

Globe & Atlas

Classic British-style pub onboard Oasis of the Seas. Great meeting spot, and even better drinks!

Johnny Rockets

You can’t beat Johnny Rockets can you? A classic onboard most Royal Caribbean ships, and it certainly didn’t disappoint onboard Oasis of the Seas.

Ice Rink / Ice Show / Studio B

One good thing about the Ice Rink, and especially the Ice Show, is that there’s no bad seats! Every seat, every angle, is amazing!

Izumi

Izumi is another one of those classic Royal Caribbean speciality dining venues, and yet, I’ve still not tried it! The Izumi onboard Oasis of the Seas felt a little bizarre. As you can see in the picture, the entrance to Izumi is just off a stairwell, and lacks any luxury, inviting experience. Especially given the price you pay.

Lime & Coconut

The Lime & Coconut is a great choice for poolside cocktails – and even late night drinks. We found that during the evenings, it was very, very quiet. And in some ports, it was the perfect bar to look out into the cityscape. Definitely not one to miss.

Main Dining Room

We ate at the Main Dining Room pretty much every night. I won’t get into my opinion on set dining times or the confusion of having to eat on a certain deck. But generally, the food and atmosphere here was pretty good! We’ve never had a bad dish on Royal Caribbean.

Main Pool Deck

The Main Pool Deck is where all the action happens. And if you love being a part of the bigger crowds, this is the spot for you. From these images, it looks completely dull and lifeless. But I wanted to ensure I didn’t photograph anyone sunbathing, so saved myself for a rainy day.

Mini Golf

I love me some Mini Golf – especially on Royal Caribbean where it’s included in the cost (This wasn’t the case on my NCL cruise back in May 2024.) However, I found this one to lack any real direction. Y’know what I mean? Normally there’s a very clear start and end point. And maybe it was just the clientele onboard, but people kept just grabbing clubs and balls, and just starting wherever they felt like.

Music Hall

If you love live music, then the Music Hall is the perfect spot. There’s a total variety of music that they play, so if you pass by one night and don’t love it, check back another! We came here to watch an adults-only game show that was absolutely hilarious!

Next Cruise

A bit self explanatory, right? If you’re the type to book your next cruise whilst onboard your current one, you’ll love the Next Cruise spot then.

Playmakers

Playmakers Sports Bar is another classic Royal Caribbean venue. Here you can catch live sports, usually from the United States, and some bar food. The food is an up charge and I’d say it’s pretty good. Also, if you’re a vegan, they do a Beyond Meat Burger!

Playmakers | Oasis of the Seas | Royal Caribbean

Poolside BBQ

Situated at the top deck next to the main pool and El Loco Fresh is the Poolside BBQ, which as the name suggests… Meat! I didn’t visit here as it doesn’t cater to vegetarians, and to be honest… It was quite quiet the whole cruise. Also an additional up charge.

Promenade

Probably my favourite part of any Royal Caribbean ship, the Royal Promenade. In my opinion, the central heart of the ship, and the core USP that separates Royal from other major cruise lines. Here you’ll find Guest Services, Sorrento’s, the Royal Shops, and so many bars!

Rising Tide

My favourite bar onboard Oasis of the Seas: Rising Tide. As the name suggests, it rises from one deck to another. Pretty cool, right? It starts onboard the Royal Promenade and takes you up to Central Park. Plus, it’s quite small, so can feel intimate in comparison to the wider cruise.

Rock Climbing

If you’re into your physical activities (I’m not), then you’ll love Rock Climbing. Didn’t see too many people do it on our cruise, even when the weather was great. But I’m sure some people loved it.

Royal Theatre

The Royal Theatre is where you’ll see all those Broadway/West End inspired shows! We had Cats onboard and although it was good, it felt quite long. However, the performers were absolutely incredible so it isn’t a testament to their skill (just my attention span).

Schooner Bar

We had the BEST espresso martini at Schooner Bar. Plus, it was always fairly quiet too, so if you’re looking for a chilled atmosphere with some soft, live piano. This is the bar for you.

Solarium

Now, this is the absolute jewel of the ship. Probably my favourite part of the ship, and where I spent the most of my time. The adults-only Solarium (and also Solarium cafe for breakfast and lunch). So many sun beds, both sheltered and open, so if you want to tan you can. The two large hot tubs and the single pool definitely got used too!

The bar staff and atmosphere was amazing here too.

Sorrento’s

A Royal Caribbean ship isn’t complete without a Sorrento’s, right? The free, 24 hour, pizza station is certainly a crowd pleaser. My only critique is that you had to put in a request for veggie-toppings (and you didn’t get to choose them either), and if it was peak time, they would say no. But yet, there was always a meat option available.

Spotlight Karaoke

As the name suggests… A karaoke spot! Here they played Family Feud pretty much every night, but in my opinion, they could have moved that to a larger venue, as it was always absolutely rammed.

Starbucks

A Starbucks at Sea? You betcha! Now, it’s a little more expensive, and not included in any drinks package, but it’s there if you need it! If you’re a Starbucks mug collector (like me), then you’ll love the fact there’s an exclusive Oasis of the Seas X Starbucks mug!

Starbucks | Oasis of the Seas | Royal Caribbean

Sugabeach

Got a super sweet tooth and craving a pick and mix? Head to Sugabeach. Nothing is included here, so make sure you keep a close eye on your kiddies unless you want a 10lb bag of candy added to your room charge.

They also had a popup candy floss station a few times too! Only cost $3 which isn’t too bad?

Sugar Beach | Oasis of the Seas | Royal Caribbean

The Ultimate Abyss

Ever want to ride a 10-storey slide from the top of the ship down to the Boardwalk? Well, now you can! There’s two slides you can choose from (I don’t think they have names), left or right, which means you can race friends and family!

It’s even open late at night sometimes too.

Unboxed

Need to pick up some paracetamol? Forgot your toothpaste? Head to Unboxed for all those purchases.

Waterslides

Another highlight of my cruise was the waterslides. Have you seen that viral video of me going down?! Take a look here. Fun for all ages, as along as you’re above the height requirement. But super, super fun!

Wipeout Bar!

The Wipeout Bar! is perfect if you love to be a part of the entertainment, but not too far from a beer. Situated on the top deck, right by both Flowriders.

Wipeout Bar! | Oasis of the Seas | Royal Caribbean

Well, that’s it from my A-Z visual tour of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. I’m aware that there’s probably so much of the ship I’m missing, but hey… It is one of the world’s biggest, so I wasn’t bound to see it all!

I hope you found this helpful.
