No. Royal Caribbean does not include gratuities in the advertised price. These will be added to your onboard account at a rate of $18.50 per person, per day.
Are alcoholic drinks included with Royal Caribbean?
No. Royal Caribbean does not include alcoholic drinks in the advertised price. But they have an array of drink package options. I have a dedicated blog post detailing the price of the drinks package.
When does Legend of the Seas launch?
Legend of the Seas launches in summer 2026. She will be making her maiden voyage from Barcelona, Spain. Making her the first Icon-class ship to launch in the Mediterranean.

Royal Caribbean is renowned for their innovative ships, record-breaking onboard activities like surf simulators and skydiving experiences, and award-winning entertainment. Their ships are often among the biggest in the world, offering a “city-at-sea” experience.
What’s included with Royal Caribbean?
Your fare includes accommodation, main dining (including buffet and main dining rooms), most onboard activities, Broadway-style shows, pools, and access to the fitness centre. Drinks like water, tea, coffee, and juice are free in the buffet.
