Launching in summer 2026, the Royal Beach Club Santorini will be a brand-new destination experience exclusively for guests sailing with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. Set against the island’s famous volcanic beaches and breathtaking blue-and-white villages, this new beach club promises to blend the best of Greek island life with Royal Caribbean’s signature style.

What can expect at Royal Beach Club Santorini?

Although we don’t know much… Think of it as the perfect Santorini day: a mix of island exploration and relaxed beach time. Guests will have the chance to explore iconic spots like Oia, with its whitewashed buildings and blue-domed churches, or wander through Fira’s charming cafes, boutique shops, and art galleries – before unwinding at the Royal Beach Club’s seaside paradise.

If you’ve visited Perfect Day at CocoCay or Labadee, you’ll have an idea of what Royal Caribbean means by “exclusive land-based destination.” But the Santorini club sounds like it’ll take things in a slightly different direction – less water park, more Mediterranean escape.

The beach club aims to capture the vibrant Grecian spirit. Expect Mediterranean vibes, local flavours, and stunning sea views, paired with Royal Caribbean’s signature service and comfort.

A Smarter Way to Experience Santorini

One of the challenges of visiting Santorini by cruise is the sheer number of people arriving at once, especially during peak season. Royal Caribbean says it’s tackling that issue head-on. The new Royal Beach Club will introduce an innovative way to distribute guests more evenly across the island, helping reduce congestion and giving everyone more time to actually enjoy the experience.

Guests will start their journey from one of three different locations. An interesting move for anyone who’s ever queued for hours to get up to Oia!

Part of a Growing Collection

The Santorini project is part of Royal Caribbean Group’s ambitious plan to expand its Royal Beach Club Collection from two destinations to eight by 2028. The first one, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas – scheduled to open in 2025, with others planned in Cozumel (Mexico), Lelepa (Vanuatu), and more.
