My Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Reviews
Back in May 2024, I sailed on Norwegian Viva, visiting Santorini, Mykonos, Istanbul, and more. It was an incredible cruise – and if you’re interested, you can read the full blog post here.
I highly recommend NCL, specifically their prima-class. I found that they combine the fun, youthfulness of Royal Caribbean, mixed with the premium quality of Celebrity Cruises.
Are gratuities included with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)?
No. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) does not include gratuities in the advertised price. These will be added to your onboard account at a rate of $20.00 USD per person, per day. And no, they’re not included with Free at Sea either.
Is Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) cheap?
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is not the cheapest cruise line in the world, but their inclusions and their Free at Sea package is definitely good value for money.
What is Free at Sea?
Free at Sea is NCL’s style of doing an all inclusive package. For a small upgrade, you can have unlimited premium beverages, a speciality dining package, Wi-Fi, and shore excursion credit.
Is Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) good for families?
Yes! NCL is great for families, but equally fun for just the adults. On a lot of their ships, you’ll find: water slides, speedway, mini golf, and darts. Plus, some dedicated kids clubs too.
